Pool: |
The Suburban Swim Center is an 8-lane 25-yd course, with a separate 2-lane warm-up pool that will be available for
continuous warm-up and warm down throughout the meet.
ABSOLUTELY NO DIVING into the warm-up lanes (enter feet first). Two designated one-way sprint lanes will be available during the last 10 minutes of
the general warm-up period.
We will use the facility's Colorado electronic timing system.
We will be using dive-over starts during the competition. |
Eligibility
and
Age Groups: |
All swimmers must be 18 years of age or older on October 6th, 2007 and registered with USMS or the foreign equivalent.
Individual Events: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc.
Relay Events: 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, etc in 10 year increments as high as necessary as determined by
the age of the youngest relay member. |
Results: |
Computer results will be posted during the meet and will also be posted at the awards dinner on Saturday evening.

Scoring: |
Individual: 1st–9 pts., 2nd–7 pts., 3rd–6pts., 4th–5 pts., 5th–4 pts., 6th–3 pts., 7th–2 pts., 8th–1 pt.
Relay: Points will be double those listed above. |
Awards: |
We will present individual awards in each event for the first six places in each age category. We will also give team
awards. Depending on the entries received, team awards may be made in different categories based on team size. We will look for natural breaks in team sizes. |
Special Events and Awards: |
Chris Nolan Memorial 500 yard freestyle:
Awards will be presented to two overall winners (one male, one female). This will be determined on the closest percentage ratio to the national record per age group.
Mark McCandless Memorial Fintathalon:
Awards will be presented to the man and woman in each age group who scores the highest total points for swimming all four 50 events (fly, back, breast, and free).
Jim Robles Memorial 400IM:
Awards will be presented to two overall winners (one male, one female). This will be determined on the closest percentage ratio to the national record per age
group. |
Food: |
At the pool, there will be a concession stand with free items and some for sale.
Restaurants and stores are 5-10mins away by car. |
