In 2004, 38 FINS and friends swam over 56 miles here in Philadelphia and NYC and raised
$1681 for The William Way Community Center.Our 2004 swim was a memorable one for the FINS. We paid tribute and honored a fellow FIN, Mark McCandless, who passed away
suddenly in October 2003. His partner of 24 years, Andy McCaffrey, chose The William Way Community Center as the charity of their choice.In
December, we vote for a charity to support. We have swam for MANNA, The Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, The Center for Gay and Lesbian Civil Rights
, The William Way Community Center and The Attic Youth Center.
